The Electric Fuelling Station of the Future

HONOURABLE MENTION: E-Cone

SUPERSPACE | Istanbul, Turkey

Like the seeds of a cone, a circular glulam canopy system creates a loop for passengers to enter and exit. Around the station, a maze of narrow paths inspired by the maple leaf branch out so visitors can stretch their legs.

Each angle of the upper rooftop courtyard offers a different viewpoint, while the inner courtyard below is ringed with a coffee shop, a market and lounges to chill and relax.

E-cone is built for the community of EV drivers to interact, whether in the central courtyard or on the rooftop lookout points.

Cars tucked under the timber structure, which has a green upper park with walkable grid solar panels.

The inner courtyard provides a safe space for children to run and play.

The upper court is a great spot for souvenir selfies or to meditate in the summer breeze.

As night falls, the glassed-in facilities glow, welcoming travellers to take a break from the road.
