The Electric Fuelling Station of the Future

HONOURABLE MENTION: Autonomy Home

Yutian Tang, cute Architects | New York City, USA

Autonomy Home takes its inspiration from the comforts of home, encouraging people to linger while their EV recharges.

Here, the parking spot becomes a hospitality space, with smart furniture modules that can be configured to a traveller’s needs, whether that’s a living room for a family or a workspace for a business traveller. Equipped with object detection and smart wheels, the robo-modules can move around freely, even delivering food and beverage on demand.

The pleated roof structure shelters the outdoor lounge areas.

Cars can drive directly into the station and park, with columns separating the zoned spaces.

A living room set up, complete with work station.

Food and retail services delivered directly to customers.

Travellers can configure their spaces and interact with service providers via the app.

The overall plan.
